Mend Your Own Fence and Own Your Own Crazy

Where everybody gets their mail on the same side of the street.

Horsin' 'Round the Bluegrass at Whispering Hills RV Park was underway. It was early a.m., 5 o'clock-ish, and we all know what that means, ha.

It was time to get those groceries into a frying pan and onto the camp stove.

Thelma was enjoying her Keurig-brewed cup of Arbuckles while I was getting my recommended daily serving of vegetables on.  The weather couldn't have been nicer for mid-April in the rolling hills of Kentucky.  If Thelma and I didn't accomplish another feat, this particular event would go down in The Diaries of Thelma & Louise as one of our most gratifying camping trips of all, when we actually cooked OUTSIDE ON A CAMP STOVE. Yes, it's that big of a deal. Me and Thelma were as full of pride as two bulls are of wind in corn time.

"Thelma! You know how we run'd outta gas yestiddy?! Well, we done run clean outta cocktail mixer vegetable juice, too." I know right. Belvidere Pat was nowhere in sight. I had to rescue my own self this time.  I walked up the street to borry a cup from our neighbor and hostess, the real Sister Louise, who poured me a tall glass of orange juice instead, ha.

Breakfast Toddy

The dinner bell rang, and we all flocked to the pavilion for breakfast. There, our hostesses detailed out our day beginning with a trailer tour mid-morning. We would each as a group visit one Sister at a time to view their magnificent homes away from home. After breakfast, Thelma and I rushed back to wash dishes - something we were totally unaccustomed to since we ain't never cooked before - so's we could get Bella ready for company.

Reeeeeally white trash waiting for water to boil to warsh dishes.
Parade of Homes, ha, coulda swore they said bar crawl.

For more of the Parade of Trailers, stay tuned...
