Thelma, Louise & Bella

It's a reason why God put a woman through menopause, I'm past 60... you know what that means? After that time you're not supposed to be bogged with no kids. -Madea

...OR men OR pets, at least not while glamping with Sisters on the Fly (SOTF).

My sister-in-law, Cindy, first introduced me to glamping the summer of 2012. She had purchased a vintage 1971 Play-Mor travel trailer and began her restoration of what, or who rather, is now known as "Bella," her darling little camping getaway. We both joined SOTF, and Cindy has graciously opened Bella's door to me to accompany Cindy and Bella in their shenanigans. Much obliged, Sister Cindy!

Glamping is quite simply glamorous camping with a vintage flair. SOTF is a sisterhood comprised of women ages 21 and older though I would imagine the core of the group is pre-, peri- or postmenopausal in age. Just saying. Anywho, they are a group of self-proclaimed cowgirls whose aim is to "have more fun than anyone" and to "turn women into girls." Can I get a yeehaw?

Our first adventure with SOTF is one week from today in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We will be traveling in a caravan along with 30 other sisters towing their vintage trailers. Roll along wagon train. Wagon ho!
